Associated Species: Aristida purpurea, Bromus rubens, Senegalia greggii, Porophyllum gracile, Ephedra, Hofmeisteria pluriseta, Camissonia walkeri, Sarcostemma cynanchoides, Bebbia juncea, Opuntia cf. engelmannii, Nicotiana obtusifolia, Datura wrightii, Cryptantha racemosa.
Description: Occasional, stems 5, fruits dark green, shiny, seeds black, fruits 16(w)x10(l) mm, 19x16.5 mm, 15x14.5 mm.
Reproductive Condition: flowers
Notes: Probably more suggestive of Clover and Jotter's Echinocereus canyonensis; one plant to Garden; sheet 1 of 2.
